Framing is just about done here, and the keel sides are in place. The bottom of the keel shoe is a tear drop shaped piece of 1/2" cor -10, and the keel sides are 3/16" cor-10. In this picture the whole framework has all been sandblasted white, because I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to get the underside of the angles once the hull was plated. I also blasted one side of all the future hull plating at that time, and then plated it blasted side in. I blasted the interior again years later for final painting, but the process was easier and better because I did it first here.
