Looking aft, stainless and teak about done. The hawse pipes are 3" sched 40 weld els welded to a threaded nip, which threads int a 1/2 coupling welded in the deck. They have turned, hinged caps with a slot machined in to take the chain, and seem to work very well to keep the water out. On a passage I can just unscrew them and screw in a plug cap, ensuring no water below even with the bow buried.
