Detail. This is where the inside radii cause complications. That rail coming across the cabinetry outboard is curved on both it's outside and inside dimension, and has to curve to the left in this shot and taper into the bulkhead and disappear. It also meets the bukhead at an angle, which makes it a little more complicated. It took me one month of thinking about it on my commute to and from Boston every day to figure out how to make it, and when I finally did, I made about 20 of them at one time... I also had lefts and rights, and 2 different sizes. Basically if something started from the sole, it's 2" radius, either inside or out, and if it starts from anywhere above the sole, it's 1 1/2" radius. Next
